![]() ![]() wrong in so many ways.įirst, the AI won't play ARC the same way you play ARC, so the scenario where I am playing as Al Falah and then I have to defend myself against "your strategy" still does not happen. I landed my city on a hill btw for that bonus, but everything around me was grass land except a few tiles so I had like 3 production tiles and rest were grassland farms.I don't even know what to say about this. I get a good 5-8 out before computing is researched. Chemistry+Engineering buildings and then go soldier spam. Don't think a human player would fair any better. Two ****ing AIs unleashing their entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ army on me and I survived that (srsly, I had a really bad time). I had two AIs sandwich me as early as turn 60 and I survived that. I won the game with he victory on turn 220 with my dominant affinity actually being Purity. it takes me 200 turns justt to contact Earth, research the tech and reach level 13 supremacy. I completed the exotic matter wonder and completed Emancipation Gate on turn 200 on Quick speed. It doesn't help you (a lot) to get the victory wonder up quickly, and you can defend yourself without it.Why not the exotic matter wonder? That wonder unlocks all victory wonders reguardless of your current affinity level. So if we're talking about achieving an Affinity Victory, I don't see how getting might is relevant at all. I think to really have this discussion, we'd to set up some rules, because all of that "will blitz across the map and kill any al falah player" doesn't make any sense in Singleplayer - which is what we're talking about, right? Cause she gets to max MIGHT while bltizing through the tech tree, getting Tissue Engineering (+10 healing) while trying to hit tier 3 at around turn 140 at which point your hellions with their unimpeded movement and +20% strength from the MIGHT tree will blitz across the map and kill any al falah player and her cities before she gets her victory.Īlso since tiles don't matter after supremacy 6, you can node up your cities to make them impregnable. Originally posted by RoboEmperor:I'm gonna maintain that ARC is strongest sponsor. I can't get past a small colony size because Khrabrost was founded on an island. I had 40 production per turn and 60 science per turn in Khrabrost. Sorry if these statements sound rude, but it's not the first time he has entered a discussion just to make nonsensical claims with unwarranted confidence. Lastly, the only Victory Achievement that he has is that for Gemini - which isn't conclusive evidence since he may be using mods, but it fits the general theme, which is that he has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to Beyond Earth. He's made threads about how he has trouble staying alive on very low difficulties in the recent past, the strategies that he talks about are fringe and nonsensical - he doesn't construct early game buildings because late-game buildings are "better" in his opinion even though that leaves him with extremely underdeveloped cities. Plus, I'm very skeptical of his claims to begin with. Originally posted by Ryika:He's playing on Quick Speed too, so that would be a turn ~340 turn victory. To sum it up the best factions are Slavic, ARC, PAC. It takes more time to reach level 13 of an affinity than it will to complete the exotic matter wonder, And that wonder costs as much as a contact beacon. That makes the PAC suit my stratergy because of the wonder construction advantage. Then I go for nanotechnology/hypercomputing. once the wonder is compete, the victory wonder unlocks reguardless of my current affinity level. If I don't have enough harmony and if I dont have enough science to get the affinity level for the victory wonder, I go for exotic matter. After I contact Earth, I go for field theory instead of nanotechnology/hypercomputing. If I am trying to win through emancipation/promised land, I go for orbital networks ASAP. Aside from Recyclers, there isn't anything important to Rushbuy, so extra Energy isn't too useful." "Weave in Thorium Generators as necessary to stay afloat, but otherwise they're pretty much the lowest priority. These deployments last longer if you're Slavic. If you researched dark networks, The dark energy satellite/all-seer is a good replacement for counterintellegence agents so you can have more covert op's. If you researched cybernetics or orbital automation late game techs, You will be able to attack from orbit to defend. Slavic federation has a very long lasting orbital navy. ![]() Polystralia has very strong economic potential (but is too slow to be outstanding in refined strategies).ĪRC is good at cheesing 1v1 against the AI.Įverything else is very weak in comparison.
